Responsibilities: Coordinate tool issue, return, and inventory control in a secured environment supporting aviation and maintenance operations.
Verify tool inventory against system records (e.g., KITS), ensure inspection and maintenance cycles are current, and track reordering needs.
Monitor and manage hazardous material (e.g., batteries, parts) shelf-life and disposal timelines.
Use inventory systems such as TCMAX to maintain accurate tool and hazmat records in compliance with AFI 21-101 and applicable regulations.
Interface with manufacturing, contracting, and logistics teams to assess and fulfill tooling and service requirements.
Support procurement and redistribution of tool services products while assisting in inventory optimization and removal of obsolete items.
Review outside supplier performance to ensure contract and procedural compliance.
Assist in overhead and capital budget planning for tool services Qualifications: Associate degree in a related discipline and typically 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Interim Secret Clearance Knowledge of U.S. Air Force regulations and tool control procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Minimum 3 years of aviation or aerospace experience.
Experience using inventory management systems such as TCMAX.
Preferred: Military background with familiarity in AFI 21-101.
