Tool & Die maker
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Tool & Die maker candidate working at an automobile manufacturing plant in Tennessee. The plant is located between Chattanooga and Nashville and is about 1 hour from each. This position offers a salary range between $28 to $31 per hour with bonus potential. In addition, full benefits package and a $10K relocation. There is also a 3-month temporary housing allowance while you find a permanent place to live. This is a 1st shift (6am-2pm) position.
Responsibilities of the Tool & Die maker includes:
8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday), possible weekend rotating work
Build, Repair and maintain stamping dies and roll former tooling
Diagnosis tooling issues
Work with Toolroom, Production and Engineering
Use proper inspection and measuring techniques for precision parts
Preferred skills of the Tool & Die maker are:
Attention to detail
Must have above average verbal and written skills
High level of professionalism and able to communicate with all
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a face paced environment
Ability to manage and solve complex issues
Very strong organization, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Be a great motivator of people in a positive effective manner
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
Valid US driver s license
Must have strong in press trouble shooting skills
TIG welding experience
Strong knowledge of all basic die shop machines
Minimum, 3 years experience in metal stamping industry, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Conducting (drug screening and background check) report inquiries will be necessary for employment purposes.
