Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our finance team. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for preparing invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, is comfortable working with numbers, and has excellent customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices for goods or services rendered
  • Review billing data for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and update customer account information
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Generate reports related to billing and accounts receivable
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end closing and audit processes as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a billing clerk or in a similar administrative role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position
  • Office-based work environment (hybrid or remote options may be available depending on the company)
  • Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM but not guaranteed
