Position Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative will drive sales growth and increase Florim USA's brand presence within the assigned territory for A&D, Countertop, and Flooring products. The role involves managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and representing Florim USA at trade events. The position requires regular travel within the sales territory, conducting site visits, and providing clients with product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Client Management: Conduct daily sales calls to existing clients and prospect new accounts. Develop new business opportunities and address client requests promptly.
  • Market Presence & Promotion: Travel weekly to enhance product knowledge, promote new product introductions, and visit client showrooms.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare weekly reports on sales progress, market conditions, and product needs.
  • Event Representation: Represent Florim USA at trade shows and other events as required.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an A&D representative, flooring representative, or countertop manufacturer representative required.
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong persuasion skills and problem-solving attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and virtual communication tools.
  • Ability to lift more than 30 lbs regularly.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in outside sales, particularly in A&D (Architecture and Design), flooring, or countertop industries.
  • Proven track record in managing existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.

Skills:

  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Comfortable with both in-person and virtual presentations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Travel:

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within the assigned territory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift more than 30 lbs regularly.
  • Must be comfortable working in environments that may involve occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to facilitate product demonstrations, client tours, and attend trade events.
  • Strong persuasion skills and the ability to address customer needs promptly.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and product information.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with sustainability principles in product offerings.
  • Prior experience in the tile or construction-related industries is a plus.
