About the team
The Global E-Commerce Strategic Readiness Manager will work closely with GR/policy, legal/regulatory and media corporate functional teams and e-commerce business line teams to analyze risks and deliver proactive mitigation solutions. This role will closely monitor the external policy, regulatory, and media landscape and deliver timely insights to help guide and drive business decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor external environments relevant to e-commerce business to identify emerging risks that business leadership should be aware of.
- Perform comprehensive analyses of business operations to develop a deep understanding of business
- Conduct proactive, systematic analyses of e-commerce activities and provide clear, actionable guidance to business teams using accessible, business-friendly language.
- Partner closely with GR, Communications and Legal teams to proactively address issues
- Exercise strong independent judgment and leadership abilities and provide risk-based solutions that align with business objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong understanding of data compliance, security, and privacy laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to make risk-based, data-driven decisions and align diverse teams toward common goals.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, with experience in cross-functional and global roles, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly self-motivated with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Proactive, patient, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher, with 5 years of working experience related to e-commerce, data or privacy policy, and product experience. Experience in privacy compliance, policy programs, consulting/advisory roles, or product management is strongly preferred.
