Job Description:

Fort Lauderdale United FC is seeking a motivated and dedicated Ticket Sales Representative/Account Executive to join our dynamic Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling tickets to all Fort Lauderdale United FC events, cultivating relationships with local youth clubs, businesses, fans, and supporters, and nurturing existing connections with season ticket members. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a passion for sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.


This is a full-time role that requires flexibility, as candidates must be prepared to work outside of standard office hours - including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays - to support matchdays and other club events as needed.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally with departments to seamlessly execute and grow ticket sales business opportunities.
  • Generate ticket sales through outbound calls, in-person meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local youth organizations, corporate partners, community groups, and supporter clubs.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing season ticket members, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain a polite and professional manner at all times, demonstrating honesty, trustworthiness, and confidence in all aspects of the sales environment.
  • Represent the club at community and promotional events to drive interest and ticket sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and sales activity in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of ticket sales campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in sales, events, sports and live entertainment.
  • Must be team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • An eagerness to gain hands-on experience in the sports and ticket sales industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude along with a self-motivated and goal-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • No prior sales or sports industry experience is required.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate workload and solve problems efficiently and quickly
  • Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
