General Shale Brick, Inc., a leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking a production equipment operator for our Denver, CO manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experience. Candidates must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively with a team of manufacturing professionals.
Essential Duties:
- Operate production line equipment, both automated and manual
- Monitor production line performance.
- Make adjustments to the process based upon data and visual assessments.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and production documents.
- Recognize and report problems / correct if capable.
- Maintain cleanliness of area as required.
Job Requirements
- Preferred High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
- Must be able to work any assigned shift between the hours of 5am to Midnight depending upon which shift is assigned. Typical shifts are Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend shifts mandatory if production demands require it.
- As this position requires interacting and relaying critical information with multiple production personnel and Supervisors, the ability to read, write, and speak
English is preferred. Bi-lingual in English & Spanish a plus, but not required.
Physical Demands:
- Standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and bending for up to 10 hours.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
