About the Role:
The Therapist for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care to individuals facing various behavioral health challenges. This position is designed to support clients in their recovery journey through structured therapeutic interventions and group therapy sessions. The therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, the therapist will empower clients to develop coping strategies and enhance their overall well-being. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to facilitate positive behavioral changes and improve the quality of life for clients participating in the IOP.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid state licensure as a therapist (LMSW, LCSW, LPC or P-LPC).
Experience working with individuals in an outpatient or intensive outpatient setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
Experience with substance use disorders and dual diagnosis treatment.
Familiarity with community resources and support services for mental health.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and treatment goals.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support and encouragement throughout their treatment.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
