The Therapeutic Support Specialist is responsible for daily supervision of clients enrolled in assigned program. The primary function of this role is to provide back up support, crisis support, and coverage for staff absences (as necessary) to Therapeutic Group Leaders. Additionally, assists the supervisor in the support and implementation of evidence-based models and completion of administrative tasks as assigned/requested. Also, assists the supervisor and manager with implementation of daily structure and routine and meeting regulatory standards/requirements. Provides coverage for Therapeutic Group Leaders when there is an absence, delivering all service as a TGL including provision of therapeutic groups, collaboration in the implementation of individual treatment plans, and proficient use of all teaching procedures.

Minimum Education, Experience and Other Skill Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field from an accredited institution (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Leadership experience in child-serving systems (or in a closely related field) is strongly preferred. TFM Certified practitioner strongly preferred. Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.

Best Point will match the employee contribution of 100% for the first 3% contributed and 50% for the next 2% contributed up to 4% of the elected amount per pay period (5% Employee Contribution, 4% Employer Match)

Time Off
Best Point offers a generous time-off program that includes two personal days per year, sick time accrual and vacation time accrual for 12-month staff. Vacation time accrual starts at two weeks per year for 12-month staff and progresses to four weeks based on length of service. School-year staff members are not scheduled to work during school breaks or during the summer, and also earn personal time and sick time.
