John Muir Specialty Medical Group is seeking a Therapeutic GI physician to join our Bay Area team. You will be joining a well-respected group of general and therapeutic gastroenterologists in an organization with a long-standing presence and strong reputation in the community, state and nation. U.S. News & World Report has ranked John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek as one of the nation s top hospitals for 17 straight years.
Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced, highly capable interventional endoscopist with proficiency in EUS, ERCP and most advanced procedures. Our East Bay center has become a regional referral center for advanced endoscopy and supports a busy UCSF-based hepatobiliary cancer and surgery program, performing over 2000 advanced endoscopy cases/year.
The compensation structure is base salary plus productivity and quality bonuses as well as an opportunity to own shares in an independent ASC. The group currently consists of 12 MDs and 3 ARNPs, extensive MA and RN support, 100% anesthesia supported procedures in state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand new advanced endoscopy suite.

Qualifications:
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology with completion of advanced GI year
• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
• Must maintain current CPR and DEA registration
• Must possess or acquire a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
• Excellent letters of reference
• Not a J-1 destination
