A large academic medical center's Urology Division is excited to welcome two fellowship trained urologists, one in Genitourinary Reconstructive Urology (GURS) and another in Urologic Oncology for the flagship university hospital. This leading academic center s primary teaching hospital was recently named one of the top teaching hospitals in the nation. The positions are affiliated with the 6th largest medical school in the US.

The candidate will participate in teaching and training residents in the Urology Residency Program, which currently has 15 residents. There are 8 urologists and 4 APPs in this collaborative academic department. This is an exciting time to join their Urology Division as it expands and will be practicing in a brand new, purpose-built urology clinic which will be patient-centered, set to open in 2026.

Hospital Highlights:

• Main Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center, 1100 beds

• Second Hospital is a Level III with 215 beds

• Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeries with Multiple Robotic Rooms

• Dedicated OR time in specialty pods: Have established block time available

• Equipped with the new DaVinci V, and XI robots, Holmium lasers, and Moses laser

Position Highlights:

• Access to a one of the largest group practices in the country and its referral base

• Physician can expect to have high subspecialty volume, mentorship available

• Purpose built clinic set for completion in 2026, is patient-centered with on-site radiology

• Convenient new ASC set for completion in 2026

• Conducting research is preferred

• Teaching of medical students and Urology residents

• Call is optional; 1:6 to 1:7, residents assist with first call

• Can sponsor H-1B visa candidates

• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligible

• Use Epic for EMR
