Hybrid Role (Partially Onsite-Partially Remote): We are currently seeking a Full-Time Testing Manager to join our Epic Department at the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health. Hybrid office locations in Ada, OK and Plano, TX.
Summary:
The Testing Manager develops, implements, and is involved in communicating of the Epic testing strategies, plans, and processes, including ongoing education and maintenance of the testing program. The Testing Manager works with the Applications teams to ensure testing plans, and teams are fully developed and productive and provide excellent communication, strong teamwork, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Manages multiple Epic environments and ensuring that they are maintained
Collaborates to achieve technology operations of a state-wide technology network, including electronic health records, population health, healthcare analytics, and business intelligence systems to advance the goals
Improves healthcare through technology by building and implementing Epic testing programs
Advises on best practice approaches and expertise from past implementations
Develops testing scripts to be used across the different Epic teams and modules
Evaluates and document current-state processes through discovery and analysis
Completes reviews, assessments, and remediation of any testing issues in each area, including documentation of the issues and the remediation
Creates and disseminates overall Epic testing schedules
Develops ongoing testing programs for after Epic implementation events
Builds, tests, trains, and converts and/or deploys new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processes
Consults with the other Applications Managers and advanced leadership to drive optimization and performance of healthcare technology systems, e.g., EHR, analytics, and business intelligence
Collaborates to provide technical leadership for the implementation and support of software applications, enhancements, and modifications for legacy systems and in scoping, implementation planning, and conversion to new systems
Works with the Environment and Release Manager to develop a strategy for implementing regular upgrades and maintenance of Epic systems
Participate in regional and national Epic User Groups to share best practices and collaborate on new and enhanced products
Serve as a member of the leadership team, providing input on overall strategic direction of the institution and serves on various committees
Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development

5 years directly related management experience
A minimum of 2 years of project management experience

Bachelors Degree in directly related field

Epic module certification as assigned
