Primary Purpose Summary
The Test & Measurement Technician (TM) supports all metrology activities for the Congers site. The TM Technician works closely with the Quality, Production, Engineering and Molding departments as well as external parties to implement and execute methods and maintain Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment at the Congers facility. The TM Technician also contributes to problem solving and continuous process improvement efforts regarding Aptar products and their manufacturing processes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine inspection on Test and Measurement equipment.
Assist in measurement and test method transfers for all measurement equipment.
Maintain Gage R & R and perform calibrations of equipment as required.
Generate appropriate documentation regarding test and measurement activities.
Develop and maintain strong communications with the Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering
Departments to help resolve quality issues.
Maintain all test and measurement equipment and support audits on department matters.
Support department activity compliance to ISO 17025.

Required Qualifications
High school or technical school education. Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred.
2 years' experience working in the field of metrology or an equivalent position with experience using basic measuring instruments, CMM, OGP, calibration tools and test equipment.
Ability to use metrology measurement tools, including 3D instrument (OGP Smartscope, Hexagon Chrome, Instron, Mahr, Jenoptik).
Knowledge of MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) & SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Skills/Abilities
Independent self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project.
Experience writing protocols, data analysis, and validation reports.
Experience with Statistic software preferred
Knowledge of ISO, CFR 21 regulations.

Other requirements
The shift will be C shift but modified - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12 PM to 10:30 PM (10.5-hour shift with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
