We are looking for a motivated Test Engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates looking to gain experience in product testing and development.

You will play a key role in designing and conducting tests, troubleshooting setups and documenting results. This position offers a clear path for career growth towards a Product Development Engineer role.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and troubleshoot test setups for gas appliances and components.
Conduct testing per ANSI, CSA, and other relevant agency standards.
Wire and configure electrical test setups.
Build and maintain gas flow setups, including leak testing.
Develop and execute test plans to evaluate product performance and reliability.
Analyze test data using Minitab and other statistical analysis tools.
Generate detailed test reports documenting test conditions, results, and conclusions.
Create and modify 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks or Creo for test fixtures.
Collaborate with the machine shop to fabricate test fixtures and custom parts.
Assist in troubleshooting test failures and identifying root causes.
Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols

The Person

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical testing (e.g., through internships, projects, or coursework).
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose test setup issues.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo for designing test fixtures.
Ability to write clear, detailed, and structured test reports.
Familiarity with data analysis and statistical tools such as Minitab.
Basic understanding of wiring and instrumentation for test setups.
Ability to work in a lab environment and handle gas-related test setups.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
