Torch is looking for a Test Engineer that will be part of a collaborative team supporting the testing of the Command and Control Battle Manager and Communication System (C2BMC) architecture for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role involves integration and formal test events, developing assessment plans, writing test requirements, and analyzing system performance in support of fielding decisions. The position is located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities: Perform routine design and testing processes to assess the functionality, integrity, and reliability of complex missile defense systems Conduct software and system assessments in an integration and distributed Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) test environment Assist in writing test procedures and protocols to evaluate system and product performance against customer specifications Develop and maintain test cases for software and system-level integration, including support for formal test events Collect and analyze test data to evaluate whether system designs meet performance expectations and mission requirements Debug basic test hardware and software to identify and assess product issues or failures Develop simple test simulations to evaluate system responses under various operational scenarios Analyze and document assessment results through formal test reports and presentations Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support improvements and upgrades to system performance Define and maintain system assessment requirements to ensure adequate test coverage of key capabilities Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics or related technical discipline 0+ years of experience. Experience with Engineering principals and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Candidate must be comfortable working in a multi-contractor/government seamless environment Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
