As a Test Automation Engineer with our client, you'll be a key player in building and improving cutting-edge automated testing solutions. This exciting role offers the opportunity to: - Collaborate with Agile team members to develop creative solutions using cutting-edge technology.
- Implement robust and fault-tolerant software designed for 24/7 availability.
- Provide expertise in web-based, distributed, and cloud-based application development.
- Define and implement test plans and cases for new and enhanced features, working closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers.
- Contribute to a high-performing, geographically distributed team.
Must-Have Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance with distributed applications, covering the full development and operational support lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with web application testing, RESTful API testing (TDD, BDD), and performance testing best practices and tools (Selenium, Swagger, Postman, JMeter, Cucumber, REST-assured).
- Familiarity with Java Spring Technology Stack and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (BitBucket, Maven, Bamboo, MongoDB, Kafka).
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications: - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51.00 to $56.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
