Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative for Orlando, Jacksonville, parts of the panhandle and the surrounding areas. The Territory Sales Representative will develop, manage and provide sales support to the assigned marketplace. The marketplace is comprised of both small cabinet and woodworking shops, Kitchen Dealers, larger OEMs, and wholesale distributors. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for demonstrations, training, technical assistance, sales prospecting, customer relationship management, customer sales calls, and distribution sales support for many different lines.

Other responsibilities for the Territory Sales Representatives will include:

  • Travel is required. 3 to 4 nights per month, 2 to 3 sales meetings per year, and at least 2 shows per year.
  • Home base is to be near either Orlando or Jacksonville.
  • Developing product plans/strategies for key accounts.
  • Develop and maintain customer profiles based on knowledge of key distributors and OEM accounts.
  • Train distributor personnel on product features and benefits, and product applications
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Prepare various reports relating to travel, expenses, and customer calls/visits.
  • Attend trade shows to promote products and to build new while maintaining existing business relationships.

Qualifications:

The Territory Representative will need to have the ability to communicate effectively in order to succeed. Other requirements include:

  • Undergraduate degree closely related to business, sales, or marketing.
  • Some field sales experience would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience in the woodworking industry would be helpful.
  • Team player that enjoys being and working with others as well as individually (individual or group setting).
  • Can maintain a strong customer service focus.
  • Finds it easy to adjust one's behavior to deal effectively with other people.
  • Be organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
  • Able to influence the opinions and decisions of others, while being empathetic to their needs.
  • Be effective at establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience. 401K package after the first year and health insurance benefits.
