SafeGrain has been a global leader in grain quality control and hazard monitoring solutions since 1954. As a one-stop shop, we manufacture and supply a wide range of products, including grain aeration systems, temperature and moisture monitoring, dust control, and hazard monitoring sensors.
We are hiring a Remote Territory Sales Representative to expand SafeGrain s footprint by selling our full line of products to new and existing customers across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. In this role, you will provide technical and diagnostics support, develop and manage customer relationships, build a strong dealer network, and drive revenue growth within your assigned territory.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your assigned region.
- Sell SafeGrain s full line of products, including grain quality monitoring, level monitoring, aeration, and hazard detection equipment.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers, commercial grain facilities, and large farm operations.
- Work closely with leadership to provide market feedback and inform sales strategies.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new products
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular weekly and monthly reports to leadership on sales activity and market conditions.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing technical expertise and solutions to their grain-handling needs.
- Proactively address and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to management to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent SafeGrain at industry events, trade shows, and farm shows to expand brand awareness and generate leads.
- Travel within the territory (50-70% in the first year, reducing to 40-50% as the territory is built).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or grain handling industry.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently to drive sales growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including frequent overnights.
