Territory Manager

Reports to the Director of Sales & Company Owners

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:


Operating on the frontline, the Territory Manager furthers the vision and culture of the company by developing people and projects within the parameters of the company Mission Statement and Core Values. Sales:


Report directly to the Director of Sales regarding all sales activities.


Sales as a service. Were not extracting from a client, were connecting on their behalf. Meet or exceed sales quota while aiming for yearly sales goal.


Prospecting daily to make sure new and existing contacts are added to the CRM/ Pipeline


Key Stakeholder Groups: Private Schools; Public School Systems; Multi-Campus Churches; and Local Governments (Town, City, and County)


Guide a client through complex sales scenarios with strategic efforts to meet their needs and fulfill their vision; lead by listening and offer full context in an educational manner


Be a student of the sales craft and the overall commercial recreation industry; develop a keen ability to defend your projects and self when needed


You should see where the client is going before they do.

Prepare written quotations through the use of the current General Standard Pricing document.


Present proposals, quotes and materials in a thoroughly professional manner


Hone public speaking and presentation skills


Execute special initiatives as assigned


Develop an extensive knowledge of public procurement laws, avenues and procedures.


Top performers earn $200K to $225K+ annually with our client in this role.


During year one, the expectation is for you to generate from between $1.0 to $1.5M+ in sales.


Operations:


Collaborate with the Director of Construction regarding a closed Projects logistics, client expectations, field coordination, necessary manufacturer information, etc


Maintain a home office including a closed door, clean/ safe workspace and store materials as needed.


Travel as necessary to meet the needs of the client. of overnights in typical month Highly variable based on the location of the person. It could vary from three to four all the way up to seven or eight or so depending on the month. Most months: three to four.


Develop ability to navigate architectural drawings and speak in an educated manner regarding typical commercial construction terminology.


Assist with receivable collections as necessary.


Administration:


Forward all orders to the Company for acceptance. No order shall constitute a binding obligation until its accepted.


Effectively build and maintain Working and closed Project folders on company server.


Ensure client needs and vision is appropriately communicated and explained in reporting.
