Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and teamwork.
- Manage delivery schedules and troubleshoot any issues related to order processing, such as delivery discrepancies or stock-outs.
- Work collaboratively with our credit department to communicate and collect accounts receivable according to approved credit terms.
- Identify new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, networking, and attending trade shows.
- Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Drive to customer locations to ensure product delivery while lifting/carrying items up to 75 lbs.
Supervision: No direct reports.
Work Environment: Primarily field-based, engaging with customers in various weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications: - 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses: A valid driver's license in good standing is necessary.
Physical Qualifications: This role requires the ability to perform various physical activities including frequent standing, walking, driving, and lifting items up to 100 lbs. Tasks may require occasional kneeling, bending, and manipulating objects.
