Job Overview: My client is seeking a highly motivated
Territory Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand market share for our
pressure-sensitive labels division. This role is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within an assigned geographic territory. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, preferably within the labeling, packaging, or printing industries.
Key Responsibilities: - Sales & Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities while growing existing accounts in the assigned territory.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including converters, manufacturers, and end-users of pressure-sensitive labels.
- Technical Consultation: Provide product knowledge and consultative sales support to customers, helping them choose the right labeling solutions for their needs.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Quoting & Negotiations: Prepare pricing proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including production, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer experience.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, provide regular reports, and forecast revenue growth using CRM tools and sales data.
Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience:
- 3-5+ years of sales experience in pressure-sensitive labels, flexible packaging, printing, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a sales territory with minimal supervision.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of pressure-sensitive label materials, adhesives, and applications.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory ( 60% travel).
