- Foster strong relationships with customers in a team-based selling model.
- Manage and ensure timely deliveries according to our scheduling; address any challenges in the order process such as delivery discrepancies or stock-outs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to manage accounts receivable and work closely with the credit department.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence and existing client relationships.
- Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape, sharing valuable insights with customers.
- Drive to customer locations for product delivery, with the ability to lift and carry weights up to 75 lbs.
Relationships: You will be collaborating with various internal teams including District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and the Accounting/Credit Department, while also engaging with customers and vendors.
Work Environment: This role involves considerable fieldwork to visit customers in varying weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications: - 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in foodservice or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven track record in building relationships, cold calling, and developing new business.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a competitive, results-driven mindset.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team spirit to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.

Licenses: A valid driver's license is required, and a good standing motor vehicle record is essential.
Physical Qualifications: You should be able to handle the following physical tasks:

- Lift weights up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 75 lbs when necessary.
- Carry items weighing up to 20 lbs frequently.

This position typically offers a salary range of $50,000 to $90,000 based on your experience and qualifications, along with potential incentive compensation.
