Join Our Team as a Territory Sales Manager. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to foster customer relationships in a collaborative selling environment. In this role, you will manage order deliveries, troubleshoot issues during the order process, and ensure effective communication of accounts receivable in coordination with our credit department.
Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through a team-based sales model.
- Oversee delivery schedules and solve any logistical issues that may arise.
- Collect payments and manage accounts receivable to ensure all balances are settled according to credit terms.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities using market intelligence and networking strategies.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and pricing to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Travel to various customer sites to deliver products, which may require lifting and carrying items up to 75 lbs.
Work Environment: You will spend a significant amount of time in the field, visiting customers and prospective clients in various weather conditions.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Background in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Adept at building relationships, including cold calling to develop new business.
- Strong customer service skills, with a competitive and results-driven mentality.
- Effective problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses: A valid driver's license is required, and a clean motor vehicle record is essential.
Physical Requirements: This role involves frequent driving, standing, walking, and lifting various weights, so physical fitness is necessary for success.
