Office Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Travel Requirement: Up to 60% of the time within assigned territory

Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative with extensive experience and knowledge in crushing and screening machines. Heavy Equipment Knowledge and Experience is Required. Experience with Terex (Powerscreen, Finlay, Cedarapids, Simplicity, Canica), McCloskey, Metso, Keestrack, Masaba, and McLanahan Equipment is desired.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our aggregate screens and crushers to new and existing clients across their territory. The role will involve significant travel to meet clients, conduct site visits, and provide exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to drive sales of aggregate screens, crushers, and other equipment.
  • Daily territory management and revenue growth through on-site visits to customers and contacting potential customers via telephone.
  • Prepare sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
  • Complete sales orders, rental contracts, and all necessary workflow documentation to complete transactions.
  • Provide post-sale support and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the value and capabilities of our Parts and Service operations.

Requirements


  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience within the equipment industry, or 5 years plus of sales experience in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of the industry and customer needs in the region.
  • Experience with heavy machinery and equipment is a must. Setting up machines, quarry, or construction site knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing time and workload effectively.
  • Valid driver's license.
