Job Description: We're seeking a motivated and experienced insurance professional to develop and execute strategic marketing plans within a designated territory.
Responsibilities: - Planto produce budgeted premium volume and policy count of profitable lines of business.
- Usebinding authority to support premium growth in targeted classes.
- Evaluate prospect agencies and recommend new appointments.
- Manage a sales pipeline.
- Drive submission activity in key classes and verticals to meet premium goals
- AnalyzePower BI and Comparative Rater data to assess performance in influence agency behavior.
- Identifygrowth, consolidationand agency incentive opportunities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with agents, regional underwriting and claims teams, and home office departments.
- Communicate premium, submission and profit goals to agents;monitor results and coordinate action plans with key agency partners.
- Provide ongoing training to agency plant on new programs, products, servicesand systems.
- Monitor and analyze insurance market trends that may impact the territory and agency plant.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least four years of insurance experience in sales and commercial underwriting with a property and casualty company; or six years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- Valid driver's license
- Experience working with Power BI (preferred)
- Experience working with independent insurance agents (preferred)
- Experience in a similar sales and field role (preferred)
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, including negotiation and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently
- Excellent organizational ability with demonstrated mastery of planning
- Travel as needed, including overnight trips
