With a proven track record of excellence and a commitment to growth, we are expanding our footprint into the Cincinnati, OH, Louisville, KY and Lexington, KY markets. We are looking for a driven and strategic Territory Sales Manager to pioneer this new region, develop key accounts, and establish long-term client relationships.
The Opportunity:
As the Territory Sales Manager, you will be the face of our company in this exciting new market. Your mission is to independently develop business opportunities, build a robust pipeline, and drive revenue growth. This role is perfect for a self-starter with a hunter mentality who thrives on building something new from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new business in Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington DMA's.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures a strong market presence.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the corrugated packaging market, identifying emerging opportunities and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and superior service.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the corrugated packaging industry or closely related field.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing new business.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing a large territory independently.
- Knowledge of the Cincinnati, Louisville, and Lexington markets is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Uncapped Commission Structure: OTE (On-Target Earnings) of $160,000 - $220,000 in year two, with significant growth potential.
