JOIN OUR TEAM AS A TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE - Northern Utah (Counties: Davis, Weber, Morgan, Cache)
Overview: We continue to expand our expert sales team here in Utah. We have a territory sales rep position available covering the Salt Lake Valley. We are looking for a professional who speaks the language of residential construction, knows their way around a job site, has experience doing takeoffs from architectural plans (blueprints), understands and effectively follows a consultive sales process, is customer service centric, and can establish and maintain lasting relationships with general contractors, home builders, remodelers and architects. You're a strong candidate if you're currently working in a role that supports general contractors, home builders, and remodelers or are looking to grow your construction-related career into a sales professional.
What you'll do: As a Territory Sales Representative, you'll manage the entire sales journey from prospecting, onboarding new customer accounts, and supporting existing customer accounts within your assigned territory. You'll manage your accounts through ongoing engagement, product training, preparing quotes, consulting, job walks, and providing valuable project or product suggestions while winning your account's business. You'll represent Pella's entire portfolio of premium products while growing market share by selling to general contractors, home builders, remodelers, and architects. You'll be more than a sales rep - you'll be a solutions partner building business and managing strong relationships with your customer accounts while ensuring all their needs are met. This is a sales role with monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

What You'll Do:
- Manage and grow sales with the Pella brand within assigned region.
- Serve as the Go-To Resource for your general contractor, homebuilder, remodeler, and architect customer accounts representing Pella window and door solutions.
- Build Strong Partnerships as a trusted account manager within your assigned territory. This includes developing relationships with key stakeholders within each account, such as owners, estimators, project managers, superintendents, architects, specifiers, designers, and remodelers.
- Leverage Your Construction Background to provide expert consultation on product specs and recommendations, product solutions, local code compliance, installation practices, and construction project timelines.
- Drive Sales Results by discovering account and project needs, understanding job-site challenges, and providing proactive, value-added solutions.
- Manage Your Territory: Manage project pipelines, follow up on leads, and build long-term relationships that drive repeat business.
Job Requirements:
- Construction Industry Experience is Required-Whether you've worked within a trade, for a construction materials manufacturer or supplier, as a construction project manager, or as a sales rep within the construction industry, you'll need to understand all the ins and outs of what it takes to manage a consultive sales process supporting general contractors, home builders, and remodelers as a building material solution provider.
- Live within the sales territory-You'll be focused on building relationships within your sales territory, so we're looking for someone who already knows the area and its construction ecosystem.
- Relationship-Driven & Self-Motivated - You're driven by your profession and passionate about going to work each day. As a territory sales rep, you must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, have timely follow-up and communication skills, be able to solve problems, and maintain a high say-do ratio. This relationship-based role will require you to enjoy being in the field, talking to people, developing relationships, and maintaining positive rapport.
