Owl's Brew may be founds at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, HEB, Ralph's, Hyatt Hotels, and stadiums & arenas throughout the US.
This role supports the Sales team and reports directly to the Region Manger, and into the Director of Sales. This individual will manage our state business plan; maintain account call points; maintain & develop accounts (chain, general market, on-premise); and will check on execution as requested by Chain team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Distributor Management: Achieve goals by working with distributor in attaining and increasing their respective sales and distribution objectives, by gaining key package authorization, proper pricing, displays, and shelf space within national and regional off-premise chains
- Be the day-to-day point person for our distributor
- Track identified metrics, providing timely performance reports and create and execute to further grow business
- Identify and execute on business development opportunities
- Increase company's brands presence in the respective market
- Closely monitor inventory, sales and program execution by the distributors, by regularly reviewing shipments and depletions reports and make proactive plans accordingly (VIP, Nielsen, KARMA)
- Excellent communication with Distributor Brand Managers, and the distributor team
- Monthly, Quarterly, and ABP meetings with key distributor personnel to discuss current performance and develop plans to reach our shared goals
- Set forth clear, consistent Owl's Brew sales expectation guidelines and precise direction on tactics, including GSMs, Market Visits, Work-Withs, Surveys, Crew Drives, Market Blitz
- Create brand visibility through off-premise displays, execute consumer sampling events, demos, and other consumer facing activations
- Work with distributor personnel in attaining and increasing their respective sales and distribution objectives, by gaining key package authorization, proper pricing, displays, and shelf space within national and regional off-premise chains
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales on to develop programming, promotions, partnerships with assigned distributor channels (Reps, specialist, Managers etc )
- Develop and manage a key account list, engaging with key buyers/ owners/ managers, securing product distribution in the assigned account list by calling on regional accounts - both on and off premise - In field 4 days/week
- Prepare and review functional sales reports/analysis to identify opportunities: and provide monthly activity reports to management
- Monitor and report on pricing, current trends and opportunities within the market
Requirements:
This position requires the ability to create and maintain positive relationships with trade customers and distributor personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Minimum +5 years of experience in the Bev/Alc industry
- Strong key account relationships
- Ability to work independently and to plan their own time and activities
- Must be highly organized, have attention to detail and good time management experience.
- Excellent organizational & communication skills
- Comfort working on a high-performance fast paced entrepreneurial team
- Willingness to work full-time, non-traditional hours and travel as required
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to influence and partner with customers as well as train and present to distributor teams
- Business computer proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, VIP, Karma, CRM
- Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner at all time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
