Akkodis is seeking a
Teradata Developer for a
Contract job with a client in
Charlotte, NC/Plano, TX(Hybrid) . This role involves hands-on development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with Agile and CICD best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Teradata Developer job responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining complex data solutions using Teradata, SQL/BTEQ, and TPT scripting.
- Collaborating with business partners to define and refine system application requirements.
- Supporting end-to-end development lifecycle including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Performing data analysis, modeling, and provisioning for financial crimes and AML monitoring.
- Leading impact assessments, proof of concepts, and recommending innovative solutions.
- Coordinating with production support, platform teams, and upstream/downstream applications for smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with Agile practices and enterprise change management standards.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Teradata development and data engineering.
- Strong expertise in Teradata, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, and data modeling for large-scale AML and financial crimes data initiatives.
- Proven experience in Agile development environments with hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
