APPLICATIONS CLOSING DATE: AUGUST 15, 2025Overview: The South Barrington Club is seeking a passionate, experienced, and energetic full-time Tennis Professional with Platform Tennis expertise. This individual will be instrumental in delivering high-quality programming to players of all levels, from juniors to adults, and fostering a dynamic and welcoming racquet sports culture within the club.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide private and group instruction for tennis and platform tennis.
- Assist with program development and implementation for all levels and age groups.
- Organize and run junior and adult clinics, leagues, and special events.
- Help grow participation in platform tennis, especially during the fall/winter season.
- Maintain a strong on-court presence with an engaging and enthusiastic teaching style.
- Support club marketing efforts through member engagement and social media when appropriate.
- Assist with racquet stringing, equipment recommendations, and other pro shop services.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications: - USPTA or PTR certified (or working toward certification).
- Prior experience teaching both tennis and platform tennis preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- High energy, professional demeanor, and a passion for racquet sports.
