Position: Temporary Summer Secondary Alternative Education Receptionist
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (5.50 hrs/day)
Program Dates: June 16 - July 24 (no programming on June 30th or the week of June 30-July 4
Pay: $17.10 per hour
Location: John Glenn Middle School
Benefits: This position is not benefits eligible.
Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of relevant clerical experience
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Computer experience to include word processing and data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Responsibilties: - Monitor and log visitors in to the building, direct them to their destination, and administer visitor badges in accordance with the visitor procedure
- Answer the building's general phone number and transfer calls as appropriate
- Answer the building's attendance line, enter attendance information in the student information system
- Monitor security cameras and grant access to the building
- Accept courier deliveries and contact proper person for pick-up
- Assist visitors in locating designated meetings using the District email system's calendar
- Count out flyers, menus, and other materials to be sent home with students
- Gather timesheets and check for completion against a staff roster
- Other clerical duties as assigned (data entry, labeling, collating, sorting, alphabetizing, etc.)
