Job Summary
These temporary summer-only positions involve performing painting and various painting duties. Work assignments are designed to further develop the required painting knowledge and skills. Works is performed independently and as part of a team. Task difficulty and complexity increase as skill and proficiency further develop. Work involves considerable physical and manual labor. Workplace temperatures can be extreme at times. Work is performed under the direction of a Building Maintenance Foreman.

The dates of this position are from May 19, 2025, through August 8, 2025. The work schedule is .Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be current Kutztown University Student (Required).
  • Prior painting experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work full-time for the duration of the assignment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior painting experience under the direction of a painting contractor.
  • Prior steady, full-time summer employment.

    The starting salary for this position is $18.46 an hour, based on the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
