Temporary Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving orders into the computer system, and prepping items for shipment. This role also involves order pulling, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Receive orders into the computer system
  • Prepare items for shipment
  • Pull orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts
  • Handle materials and inventory management
  • Ensure proper shipping and receiving processes
  • Use FedEx for shipping
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience
  • Proficiency in inventory management
  • Experience with order pulling and material handling
  • Skilled in data entry and computer use
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
  • Experience in using FedEx for shipping

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled shop. The work environment includes the use of various warehouse equipment and requires a focus on safety and efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
