Join Our Team as a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate. At Lowes, we prioritize exceptional customer service and a welcoming shopping environment. As a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Being friendly and professional while promptly addressing customer and team member needs.
- Ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing for our customers.
- Engaging in safe work practices and promoting safety among colleagues.
This position encompasses various roles such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate - Sales Floor, Loader, and Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. Every team member is dedicated to delivering quality service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and assisting them in locating and selecting products. Depending on the role, you may also be involved in specific tasks such as:
- Assembling merchandise (Assembler)
- Stocking and distributing products (Receiver/Stocker)
- Loading items for customers (CSA Loader)
- Offering assistance on the sales floor (CSA Sales Floor)
- Processing sales and returns (CSA Front End)
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and you may be asked to assist with other duties as needed based on the store's requirements.
What We Are Looking For: - Availability for 10 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on store needs.
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week, with certain roles requiring late evening or early morning availability.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other necessary activities.
- Minimum lifting requirements: 25 pounds for most roles and 10 pounds for CSA Front End.
Qualifications for Success: Minimum Requirements: For Assembler & Receiver/Stocker roles: the ability to read, write, and perform basic math. For Customer Service Associates: 6 months of computer experience and proficiency with portable devices.
Preferred Qualifications: For Assembler & Receiver/Stocker roles: experience operating forklifts or power equipment. For Customer Service Associates: retail experience that includes customer interaction and product knowledge.
If applicable, you must obtain a salesperson license within 60 days of starting employment.
