Job Opportunity: Temporary Mail Processor & Print Coordinator We are currently seeking a temporary Mail Processor and Print Coordinator to join our team, reporting to the Manager of Mail and Print Services.
Position Details: Pay starts at $18.75/hr
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Duration: Immediate availability for a period of four to six months, as we work towards filling permanent positions.

Responsibilities: Mail Center Responsibilities - Operate the Pitney Bowes Connect 1000+ mail machine for all USPS and UPS shipments.
- Maintain knowledge of USPS and UPS rules and regulations for accurate mail processing.
- Perform software updates for PCs and mailing machines.
- Operate the Intec envelope printer for various departments, primarily Alumni Relations and Development.
- Produce non-donor statements for the Alumni Fund Office.
- Assist in mail preparation for major campaigns (Development & Alumni & Parent funds) and other departmental mailings.
- Assist walk-in customers with mail and packaging needs.
Print Shop Duties and Responsibilities - Operate five different Konica-style copiers and troubleshoot as needed.
- Fulfill daily printing requests and advise on best printing methods.
- Inspect copies for accuracy and quality.
- Utilize Dropbox for course reading packet production and file transfers.
- Assist with assembly, organization, distribution, and breakdown of course reading packets.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets for production tracking and cost analysis.
- Operate finishing equipment (folders, binders, cutters, laminators).
- Operate plotters for large poster printing.
- Produce writing pads, NCR paper products, and operate glue machines.
- Perform heavy lifting of paper cases throughout the semester.
- Provide customer service for walk-in printing requests.
- Hands out student course packets

Qualifications: - Familiarity with mailing and printing equipment or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both mail and print operations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse campus departments.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and Excel is preferred.
