Temporary IP Litigation Secretary


Location: Century City, Los Angeles
Pay Rate: $35-$38/hour
Job Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time, Onsite


A prestigious law firm in Century City is seeking a Temporary Intellectual Property Litigation Secretary to provide high-level support to attorneys. The ideal candidate has experience in state and federal court filings, including e-filing, and can thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents for IP litigation cases

  • File documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing

  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates

  • Assist with document management and case organization

  • Coordinate with courts, clients, and outside counsel as needed


Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a litigation legal secretary, preferably in IP litigation

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures

  • Proficiency in e-filing systems (PACER, CM/ECF, state court platforms, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems



Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
