Brown and Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA.

The Employee Benefits Assistant Account manager serves as a support for the benefits department. This position is primarily responsible for oversight of data entry in all Employee Benefits Agency Management systems, upkeep of various department documents, printing support, coordination of carrier and TPA meetings, assistance with eligibility, including census data entry and manipulation for marketing and open enrollment implementations with the carriers, as well as, designated department back-up for the front desk.

How You Will Contribute:
  • Operate computer systems and software, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Respond to all emails within 24 hours to ensure timely communication.
  • Enter and manage data in Zywave, Benefit Point, and ImageRight systems.
  • Support the benefits team by assisting with open enrollment tasks, including printing guides and preparing census data.
  • Perform audits on 60-day bills to verify commission accuracy, rates, and enrollment counts.
  • Obtain and review Certificates of Coverage and Summary Plan Documents for policy checks.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on renewal processing and file maintenance.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new benefits team members.
  • Maintain accurate records in agency management systems and stay informed on benefit activities.
  • Uphold agency policies and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
