Job Summary:

The Front Desk Coordinator (FDC) greets, assists, and provides direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the Firm. The FDC represents the Firm professionally and with a positive attitude. The Front Desk Coordinator provides the client with a memorable experience through world-class customer service. This role is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3 months.

  • No direct supervision responsibilities
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Unlocks the front door in the morning and locks the office at the end of each day
  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Maintains the lobby area
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; answers all rollover calls
  • Processes all incoming mail and deliveries
  • Logs in all insurance checks to the case management system
  • Processes outgoing office mail daily and handles UPS packages
  • Assists in signing up new clients as directed by the Intake Department
  • May be responsible for office petty cash and credit cards, as well as monthly reporting
  • Documents all new sign-up packets and distributes accordingly
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Highly organized with excellent follow up skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Respectful and provides a trustworthy source for clients, vendors, and coworkers
  • Ability to work independently and to identify and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Self-motivated and driven to begin and complete tasks
Education and Experience:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License, favorable driving record
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
