Our client, a prominent Venture Capital Firm, is looking for a Temporary Executive Assistant to cover a maternity leave for 6 months starting in June. This temporary executive assistant will support 1 MD and their team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and proactive.

Position: Temporary Executive Assistant

Duration: 6 months (June start through year end)

Location: New York, NY (Midtown)

Compensation: $40 - $60/hour depending on experience + paid OT

Hours: 8:45am - 5:30pm (at least 4 days in the office) - some flexibility required

Bachelor's Degree: Preferred


Responsibilities include but not limited to:


• Manage active, often changing calendar for busy executives, including business appointments, dinners and board meetings


• Extensive travel planning, including both international and domestic itineraries and managing visa processes


• Act as a respectful gatekeeper for executives


• Develop understanding of, and relationships with key contacts


• Prepare, maintain and update meeting materials via PowerPoint and Excel


• Manage to-do lists/completion of key actions and 'next steps'


• Process expense reports in a timely manner


• General administrative duties and high-level executive support as requested


Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree preferred


• 5-10 years of administrative experience; preferably in the finance industry


• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)


• Must be organized, detail-oriented and proactive


• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written


• Professional demeanor


• A flexible and positive 'no task is too big or too small' attitude


• Strong ability to multi-task and solve problems quickly, resourcefully, and competently
