Grant funded position and is contingent on availability of funds.
Primary Purpose: Provide Tier II and Tier III research-based interventions to small groups of students as needed to improve academic performance. Collaborate with campus/district staff and outside personnel to improve students' academic success.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree
Appropriate teacher certification
Experience:
Three years teaching experience preferred
Experience with Level of intervention
Major Responsibilities and Duties: Instructional and Program Management - Provide instruction to individual and small groups of students to raise academic performance to be on grade level.
- Aid in assessment data collection and disaggregation to monitor progress of intervention.
- Aid in the implementation of the Three Tier Model of Instruction and Intervention
- Provide instructional progress feedback to principals, teachers and parents.
- Participate in district required professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
