Ideal Candidate

Capability to work collaboratively with colleagues, TANF participants and employers.
Ability to embrace diversity and difficult personal circumstances in serving customers and colleagues of varied backgrounds and learning styles.
Excellent listening, written and strong verbal communication skills with ability to work independently as well as effective team member.
Attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a timely manner.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite as well as ability to learn software and database programs.

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in customer service, quality assurance, administrative support, human resources, recruitment and placement, processing personnel transactions, or eligibility determination in private or public sector and/or social welfare program. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment. This position requires a pre-employment criminal history and Federal Tax Information (FTI) background check and is conditional pending results.

Working Conditions

Office setting with face to face interaction with clients is a must, this position does not carry the option to Telework. Sitting for long periods of time viewing computer monitor. Repetitive hand movement. Standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs. Use of computer, copier and telephone. This position requires travel with some overnight travel.
