Volt is immediately hiring a Senior Accountant in Golden, CO.

This is a fully onsite, 4 month Contract role

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • Oversee all finance and accounting operations.
  • Prepare and close monthly and year-end financial statements.
  • Assist in financial forecasts and variance reporting.
  • Publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Handle billing, A/R, A/P, GL, bank reconciliation, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and tax filings.
  • Coordinate annual audits and act as the primary contact for auditors.
  • Collaborate with operations on best practices and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Oversee cash management and daily cash forecasting.
This is a Full-time, temporary opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
  • Experience with financial statements, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, IE: Sage, Excel, ERP
Pay Rate: $45-55/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday , 8:00a - 5:00p (slightly flexible)

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
