Insight Global is looking for an Interim IT Manager for a Real Estate client in Fairfax, VA. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily software support, training, and troubleshooting of IT systems within the organization. This role involves acting as a liaison between various departments and stakeholders to identify, initiate, and prioritize improvements and solutions. The IT Manager will plan, execute, and finalize these improvements, coordinating efforts with team members and third-party contractors. With a wide range of end-users from executives to interns, this IT Manager will support a Windows Environment (O365, Azure, AD, Sharepoint).
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of long-range strategic plans for network and software applications.
Team Management: Manage IT staff and develop resources using the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
System Administration: Become the system administrator and troubleshooter for software used by Accounting and Operations teams.
Training: Train all staff in software related to technology and essential job functions.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors to enhance technology advancements and ensure consistent performance.
Security Oversight: Oversee the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information, including facilitating IT security audits and investigations.
Communication: Effectively communicate expectations, budgets, future planning initiatives, and issues to team members and executives.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud environment, including Office 365 products, AD, SharePoint, and Azure.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a wide-range of end-users.
- Excellent Vendor Management skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
Plusses
- University degree or college diploma.
- Familiarity with Residential IT subsystems like Yardi, ADP, and RentCafé.
- Experience in managing physical security and access control systems.
- Experience upgrading environment from AD to Azure
Pay Rate
$50/hr - $60/hr dependent on experience
