Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:


• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.


• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.


• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.


• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:


• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).


• This role will require floating to multiple units


• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.


• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

1 manager reference from within the last 12 months OR 2 charge nurse references from within the last 6 months (One reference must be from most recent employment)

No holiday RTO will be approved

Teaching facility experience - not required

2-3 days of orientation.

HCPs will now be required to attend EPIC training during the second half of the day at TMH orientation.

At this time, they will have the opportunity to test out of the training. If they do not pass, they will be required to complete the full training before being released to their unit.

Specialty Testing: Yes - EKG

Attention: All RNs accepting travel assignments at TMH will care for COVID-19 population, if needed. This is a current requirement for most acute care

Dress Code: Scrubs - Royal Blue; Shoes - Per TMH Policy

Floating: To other MS or MS/Tele units, as needed

All RNs rotate floating so that the travel RN doesn't float very frequently. Currently, due to COVID-19 crisis, floating is "as needed"

Weekend: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule

Holiday Requirements: Summer Holidays: Shared between staff and travelers Winter Holidays: 3 out of 5 winter holidays - worst case scenario

Patient Types: Chest pain, TIA, dehydration, post-cardiac procedure (pacer, EPS, Ablation, Watchman, etc ), anemia, CHF or COPD exacerbation, stable arrhythmia

Age Range: 18+

Most patients have cardiac telemetry so RN must be able to read cardiac rhythms.

Parking: You may park in "Lot C" on Surgeons Drive. The entrance is located between Physicians Drive and the Tallahassee Community College - Ghazvini Center for Health Care Education.

Maximum days off: 3 days

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
