Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:


• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.


• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is preferred from any number of months.


• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:


• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).


• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living


• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Education

Required Skills:
• IV insertion:
• Blood draws:
• PICC/Central Line management:
• Obtain 12 lead EKG:
• Trach Care:Xpossibly at times, not specific to the area
• Epidural/PCA pump: , possibly at times, not specific to the area. No epidural pumps assigned to that area
• Feeding tubes: possibly at times, not specific to the area
• Continuous bladder irrigation: possibly at times, not specific to the area
• Wound vac:, possibly at times, not specific to the area

Patient ratio: between 9-14 patients per unit, rations are 4/1 or 5/1 depending on acuity

Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes, RN would need to know the important strips

Scrub Color (are they provided): Scrubs are not provided however you can get them pretty cheap on Galaxy blue is the color for nurses.

Maximum days off: 7 days

2 references from any number of months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
