Ellington Solutions is seeking out qualified candidates that will:
- Examine intricate local and wide area network systems, encompassing the planning, designing, assessment, and configuration of operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized environments.
- Address challenging interoperability issues to ensure functionality across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes.
- Set up and configure cloud servers, as well as vendor (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) or white-box routers and switches.
- Assist in the procurement of hardware and software, along with subcontractor services.
- Serve as a technical project leader or provide guidance to junior team members as required.
Requirements The qualified candidate will have:
- U.S. Citizenship (Required)
- Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance (Required)
- HS diploma or GED (Required)
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator RHCSA (Preferred)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA or equivalent (Preferred)
- Proficiency in performing integration and system-level testing for telecommunication systems or platforms
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
- Knowledge of VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker
- Experience with Linux or OpenStack environments
- Understanding of telephony and telecommunications
- Familiarity with networking services
- Knowledge of software-defined networking
