Responsibilities: Lead cable team members; provide guidance in accordance with BICSI rules, regulations, and standards. Utilize and calibrate network cabling test equipment, overseeing testing procedures. Design, implement, and manage complex telecommunications and network cabling infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and documentation. Supervise cable dressing, termination, and testing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Oversee the safe and efficient use of power tools and ladders, conducting regular safety inspections and providing training as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cabling infrastructure. Proactively identify and address potential areas of improvement in voice and data communications systems. Manage the abandoned cable removal and enforce strict adherence to cable management standards. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, contractors, and management, provide updates, and resolve issues. Deliver exceptional customer support in high-pressure environments, demonstrating professionalism and expertise in all interactions. Conduct thorough problem analysis and implement effective solutions, minimizing disruptions to operations. Uphold high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
