Job Title: Telecommunications Engineer
Location: Onsite, Los Angeles/Bay Area, California

Locations: - The individual will be primarily supporting our projects in the Los Angeles area but may be asked to travel to the Bay Area to support our projects there.
Accountabilities: - Configuration and testing network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and radio communications hardware (base stations, antennas, DAS) at designated sites.
- RF signal optimization, performing site surveys, adjusting antenna alignment and radio signal power levels to achieve desired coverage and quality.
- Network and radio testing and troubleshooting, conducting network performance tests, identifying, and resolving any connectivity issues or radio signal interference.
- Protocol configuration, setting up network protocols (IP addressing, routing protocols) and radio protocols (LMR and wideband).
- Documentation and reporting, creating checklists and reports including system configuration, test results and any identified issues.
Required Skills & Experience - Working knowledge of medium/complex network and radio deployment.
- Expertise in RF Engineering including radio transmission principles, antenna design, RF propagation and signal measurements.
- Excellent ability to use test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and a spectrum analyzer.
- Working knowledge of Test and commissioning processes.
- Skilled in handling electric, electronic, and mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate complex technical information.
Desired Skills & Experience - System integration, ensuring seamless integration between the network and radio systems, including synchronization and interoperability.
- Radio Frequency/Telecommunications Qualifications/University Degree
- From 2 to 5 years of Railway System Engineering and Commissioning expertise
