FG is looking for a Client Specialist with top-tier customer service skills to join their team. This is a hybrid position - 2 days-in the Cedar Rapids, IA office and 3 days remotely.
In this role, you will support healthcare clients through the full funding lifecycle of the Healthcare Connect Fund, ensuring FCC compliance, managing applications and reimbursements, and providing expert guidance and audit-ready documentation. Job Duties:
• Oversee the end-to-end Healthcare Connect Fund application process, including eligibility determination, competitive bidding, and funding approvals
• Identify, review, and document eligible expense items for USAC compliance audits, proactively resolving issues before submission deadlines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on the Healthcare Connect Fund processes, compliance, and funding strategies
• Analyze and resolve complex funding issues, including application denials, service provider discrepancies, and audit findings
• Work with internal teams to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance application accuracy and compliance
Job Requirements:
• Associate degree in accounting, finance or business, preferred
• 2+ years of billing experience preferred
• 2+ years of telecommunications experience strongly preferred
• Eagerness to learn and grow with a high-performing team
• Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, stress management and organizational skills
