Key Responsibilities:
  • Must be customer service oriented and provide outstanding service to guests calling for tee times and availability.
  • Receive tee time requests through various communication channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Accurately record and manage tee time reservations, considering golfer preferences, course availability, and pace of play requirements.
  • Work closely with all other administrative and operational departments to ensure flawless execution and communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to golfers by assisting them in scheduling tee times, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns or special requests.
  • Offer information about the golf course, rates, availability, and other relevant details to help golfers make informed decisions.
  • Respond to any guests' communications within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Address booking discrepancies, conflicts, or issues related to reservations promptly and professionally, finding suitable solutions to satisfy both golfers and course requirements.
  • Work closely with the golf maintenance team to communicate tournaments and events, course conditions and update the maintenance calendar.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Golf, Golf Service Manager, Golf Sales Manager, Director of Golf & Sports Sales and the Golf Operations team to ensure the highest quality experience for our guests at the resort.
  • Create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the Conrad Orlando and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Skills, and Experience
  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf operations preferred
  • Knowledge of golf, tee time and turn intervals, basic golf terminology is a must.
  • Experience using electronic tee sheets.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google software offerings
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly organized and able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Comfortable with starting and maintaining conversations with guests and teammates.
  • Maintain the resort's integrity and prestige by complying with all golf, sales and operational standards, policies, procedures, manuals, memos and instructions.
  • Must be able to work weekends, rotating schedules and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods.
  • Repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
